When Lindsey came to the Niagara Region she wanted to continue her work to help empower, educate & encourage female musicians and artists. Lindsey co-founded the Women's Open Mic Entertainment Night shortly after she moved to the Niagara Region.

A classy night for females to share music & word which also included the element of having different Women In Business Sponsors at each show.

Female drummers, pianists, harpists, guitarists, poets, comedians, flautists, banjo players, harmonica players... all eclectic styles of music from originals to every genre.

All of the women were encouraged to share their upcoming ventures on shows, album/cd releases, book releases etc... "it is your night to shine" as encouraged on a regular basis by Lindsey Mills.

Started in 2008 and continued to pack the venues where they held the event until 2012 when Lindsey had to step down due to becoming a primary care giver for a family member with cancer.  Lindsey continues her vision to continue the journey once the timing is right. Stay tuned...
